another way of attaching chimes
On the right I used a bail that is normally used to attach beads. I cut off the sharp point and used E6000 to glue it on.. The one on the left is another type of bail that you fold over. Bails can be purchased at Walmart, MJDesigns, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc.
