Jan 17 02 Swag Cornice Material girl
These are gathered swags of dupioni , plain lining, not interlined. The little scarf has the microwelt. Banded Drapery is interlined. We had very little stripe fabric which matches the dining chairs and the client wanted to use that stripe somewhere . Ideally I would have liked this treatment a few inches longer but could not make it with the fabric we had. Making the swag longer would have covered tha stripe cornice . It came out pretty . I did suggest more weight down the side of the window, she didn't want that so this is it! There are 4 windows like this on the same wall . The 2 in the dining area are a little wider but look pretty much the same. We used the Rowley template to make swags.
