Here are some of the gourds I have done from 1998 to 2000 including my first gourd. These years were full of trials and heaps of errors. All my gourd artistry is self taught. Burning was done with a soldiering iron, cutting with a little hand knife and carving with a gouge. Eventually, I purchased "The Complete Book of Gourd Art" by Ginger Summit and Jim Widess. I was able to teach myself more techniques.

Also pictures of Melody's Giant Baby Gourd she grew in her backyard. What a surprise it was to all of us when it grew to large !!! I think it was the chocolate she fed it !!!!!
