Welcome to our Superior Holiday Tree Lighting Party. This exciting event happenes in the Park in front of the Superior Library. Our mayor comes to plug in the cord...and Santa himself appears with the help of the Superior Fire Fighters. Maybe you'll see yourself in here or someone you know. It is getting to a size where it can be used as the "community tree". That was the purpose of planting that tree many years ago. It worked out just fine. ************************************ Special thanks to: The City of Superior's Parks & Recreation and Public Works departments for all their hard work on decorating Center City Park. ************************************ Shopping Season Kickoff: This event is the annual kickoff of the holiday season in Superior/Douglas County.
