I made this lace shop and most of the contents on a week long miniatures holiday with Valerie Casson in Provence. The course was held in a old but beautifully restored farmhouse or mas called the Mas des Graviers.

In the 6 days I was there I made this lace shop, which is based on a real shop in the town of Isle sur la Sorgue in Provence which specialises in antiques. I also made the shop counter, a travelling trunk, a vintage costume to hang on the wall, a corset on a mannequin and some ceramics which will go in the Droguerrie I made last year. Valerie is a wonderful tutor, a gifted miniaturist and a great friend. It was a great holiday.
