This traditional village house dates from the late medieval period and is in the little town of Aups in the Provencal region, Var. About 1 1/2 hours from Nice airport,1 hour from the coast, 1/2 hour from the Lac de Ste Croix and in winter 2 hours from the ski resort of Isola it is a great place for a holiday. It is available to rent when we are not staying there.

The town holds a Provencal market on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the year and a truffle market on Thursdays in winter. There are festivals throughout the year, sports facilities, a museum, art gallery and sculpture park in the town. Many beautiful villages in the surrounding countryside offer many diversions for whiling away the long hot days of summer. I am so very lucky to have been able to spend so much time in such a beautiful part of France.
