New Orleans Cemetery.
As you might have heard, for a long time, people were buried above ground because of the probability of flooding in New Orleans. This can still be done although, ground has been built up where people may be buried directly in the ground. We took a city tour and found this cemetery with very ornate burial vaults above ground. The interior is brick and the external surfaces are usually marble.
