I love crocheting I learned to crochet when I was 7 years old, as I was sitting in an old lady's attic, watching my dad (an HVAC contractor) fix her furnace. I ended up rummaging through the various boxes and bags, as kids will do, and found a little basket with yarn, a book, and a hook. By the time Daddy was through with his job, I had started a scarf. The lady was so tickled, she let me keep the basket of stuff. I still have the book, though the scarf disappeared many years ago. 26 years later, I'm still crocheting, though I do it much faster now, and sometimes in the dark, on a long road trip. I've designed blankets, hats, scarves, and so many other things, I can't remember them all! I won't stop making stuff, so I have to either give it away, or sell it. I end up doing both. :) This album will show the stuff that I've been working on lately, just because I'm so excited about the wonderful yarn choices now available, and I'm having a blast making things out of all the fun combinations. |
