Cultures' Companionship Association (KuKu ry) organized a two weekend djembe building course in Helsinki in July 2003. During the course each participant built a djembe drum "from the scratch".

The drum building master and instructor of the course was Mr. Patrick Appiah Yeboah from Ghana. JaSeSoi ry's World Village 2003 Team attended the course, and enjoyed it.
