Arkansas River debris
This shows some of the debris washed up on shore when the Arkansas River flooded in '04. The River rose 30.91 feet above "normal"...very close to the 32 feet that they consider "flood conditions." What is normally a smooth as glass river (because of the series of locks and dams that keep the river at an even level) is seen here as a rumbling torrent that crushed logs into kindling!
