You can't help but adore our little Dan. To know him is to love him (oh Lord, it IS hard to be humble!). Dan is the most bright, outgoing, eager to please and joyful character you will ever meet. From the time he was a tiny baby, he has always reminded us of a hillarious wind-up toy. . .just watch him go! He is a social butterfly who craves everyone's attention, and the boy loves to travel, too.

Dan has a beautifully square and stout build with everything in all the right places. He is a compact, boxy package of constant cuteness. We are proud to boast that we produced this wee phenomenon. He is the result of several generations of our heart's work to develop our very own Rat Terrier bloodline, the Sands line. His pedigree goes on and on for ages. Our animated little "Dan-Man" is the sunshine of our lives!

Dan is a UKC Champion!!! By the end of 11/2/08 in Perry, Georgia, our boy won his Class and Best Male Of Variety 4 times, and he took 2 consecutive Best Male wins. Not bad for his very first time in the ring! Then, by the end of 5/17/09 in Perry, Georgia, he took 6 consecutive Best Male wins and 2 Best Of Breed wins. And by the end of 9/7/09 in Perry, Georgia, he took 3 Best Male wins and another Best Of Breed win to finish in grand style. That makes him Southern Sands Kennels' 3rd Bred-By Champion.
