My friend Susan came to me, after seeing some of my One Stroke work, and asked if I could re-finish this chair for her. The only thing she asked was that it have herbs on it, preferrably medieval healing herbs.

What followed was a discovery of how to paint different leaves than I had already learned, and a lesson in patience, when those leaves didn't work out right and I ended up starting over! But I fially got it right, and the chair ended up winning a competition! yay!
