AMY'S ORCHIDS
Amy's groom's cake for her new hubby Keith was a 10" round homemade fudge cake with fudge filling and fudge scrollwork covering the cake. It is topped and surrounded with chocolate dipped strawberries. The silver plateau is embellished with green berries and beautiful green orchids with purple throats. The cake sells for only $2/serving in the round and the strawberries are 2 pounds for $25. Silver Plateau is rented at Austin Party Rental on South Manchaca--they have the best ones. The orchids were provided by Jill at Grow and were arranged by Austin Cake Lady who believes that it's okay for grooms to have a few flowers for color in their cake pictures--nothing frilly of course! :-)
