Welcome to our home. In 2003 we moved back to Michigan from Nebraska so we could be closer to our children. During the almost 20 years we spent in Nebraska, we restored a 1904 American Four Square vintage home. Here in Michigan, we purchased a modular Cape Cod that we designed the layout for, to meet our needs. We have done all the inside finishing and decorating ourselves. I wanted a circa 1820's Colonial appearance, so we've installed tin lighting throughout, and Hank installed random width southern yellow pine flooring and wide baseboards. We chose antique white paint for the walls; this makes a nice background for the quilts and samplers that I make, and the hooked rugs that my husband makes.
