I started working on this vest in January of 2003 and worked on it up to the very day that I entered it into my guilds quilt show (www.AVQA.org)...wearable art category. (June 6th, 2003) I was still stitching on it up to one half hour before submitting it! These pictures are not narrated. The vest was featured in the February CQ Newsletter (http://home.stny.rr.com/crazyquilting/) and was shown at the AVQA 2003 Quilt show where it won Viewers and Vendors choice, the Road to CA 2004 show, and the Glendale 2004 show where it took first place in the "Vested Memories Challenge". I wrote an essay about the vest for publication in the CQ newsletter and will post it under the pictures of the front and of the back, in two parts.
