Ox-Eye Daisy has evolved to be a very successful species, out-competing less-aggressive native and garden species. It is easy to keep under control if you treat it like an unruly child and keep a watchful eye on it, thinning excess self-sown seedlings as they appear and dead-heading the flowers before seeds are dispersed.
