Michaelangelo's "David".
It is now the morning of June 7, 1995. We arrived in Florence on previous evening. Having stood in line for an hour or two to see the "david", we were not disappointed. This statue, of which there are many replicas both in Florence and around the world, was done from 1401-1404. It is absolutely gorgeous!!
