Queen for the Day Frankie is a hard act to follow after this wonderful Valentine party! Decorations were super. We played two word games, but the best game was trying to guess which members had written which biographies. We have VERY interesting members! We weren't able to complete Frankie's craft; maybe we can do it another time. But it was fun looking at each other's photos that were to have been used.

Frankie brought a gorgeous cake shaped like a Red Hat Lady, and it tasted great, too! Each of us received a beautiful gift bag filled with fantastic things.

We celebrated two birthdays ~ Arlene and Etta. And some of us were called downstairs to be introduced by the Mayor himself to a group of visitors from Garland's sister city in Taiwan! Our explanation of the Red Hat Society was translated to the sister city's mayor, who was a woman.

It was a lovely party, and we thank Frankie again for all the hard work she did.
