Here's a garment that Vicky and I call a Chill Chaser. You can wear it over a blouse or sweater, as your only outer garment, or you can put it on under a coat, if you live in the cold climes! Here on the Central Coast of California, we don't even own coats, so a simple Chill Chaser is just exactly what we need.
