All done!
After soldering, I wash both sides and neutralize all of the chemicals I use in the process. The next step is to patina the lead lines, so they are black. I usually only do one coat of patina, but in this case I did 2 (due to a neutralizing problem- I forgot to neutralize the patina so it rubbed off a bit). Once the patina is done, the panel is waxed and polished so all of the lines shine. The last step was to add gold paint to the etching on the star and to my signature mark on the back.
