Goodnight Moon-- for Jen & Anna

Many of my friends and family that don't do glass have asked how long it takes me to do a piece and what all is involved. I recently did a 46 piece panel as a commission for a very dear friend, so I decided to take photos along the way. Unfortunately, I didn't take cutting and grinding photos, and I'm not actually in the pictures, since I am taking them- Jack isn't that great with the camera. I will add some of those pictures as I work on another piece.

The glass used in this piece was Mainly Wissmach: Navy Cathedral for the sky, Honey Amber ring mottle for the moon, Amber rolled for the bear, blue and white iridized for the border and Spectrum Yellow and White Opaque for the star.
