Jana, Lady LaDeeDa, again invited the Re-Gals to a Christmas Tea at her beautiful home. Jana and daughter Melody prepared all the food, and the whole family helped get the house ready for us. The house is wonderful at any time, but especially when it's decorated for Christmas. All the food was delicious, and Melody kept us supplied with plenty of hot, Constant Comment tea.

We had nearly our entire chapter at this event on December 14, missing only Linda, who was out of town, and Judy, who lives in Tennessee. And we were happy to have Renee with us again this time. Martha got away before the group picture was taken.

After lots of good conversation and our delicious meal, we did our gift exchange. It was a little different this year. Vickie came up with the idea of bringing a $10 toy to be donated to The Big Texas Toy Run, which she and Janie participated in with their motorcycles. We had the fun of exchanging the wrapped toys, using our usual left/right game (which SOME people thought was too long), but it was great to know that the toys were going to needy children. We ended up with a nice variety, including games, stuffed animals, and other fun toys.
