The item being offered is a miniature reproduction of Silas Marner by George Eliot originally published in 1861. It contains 155 pages in one volume. This volume contains the complete text and is readable most likely with a very strong magnifying glass or even a microscope. Effort has been made to make the volume look aged. This volume is 31/32” high by 25/32” wide and 3/8” thick. The pages are printed on both sides of single sheets. The book is constructed using traditional bookbinding techniques and other techniques I have developed for miniature books. Each page is hand cut. The cover is printed on high quality acid free paper and bound over a base of 110 pound cardstock to keep the cover in scale. The spine is printed with the title so the volume will look well on a bookshelf in your miniature library.
