SENSE & SENSIBILITY $38.75
SENSE AND SENSIBILITY BY JANE AUSTEN is a 1/12th scale miniature book containing 226 pages and was originally published in 1811. The covers are miniature reproductions of a volume published in 1875 by Richard Bentley and Son, New Burlington Street, London, Publishers in Ordinary to Her Majesty the Queen. The book is printed in two volumes. Volume I contains 95 pages and includes chapters 1 through 28. Volume II contains 100 pages and includes chapters 29 through 50. It is a complete copy of the book and is fully readable with a strong magnifying glass or possibly a microscope. The pages are printed on both sides of single sheets. These volumes are 31/32 high by 25/32 wide and 1/5 thick. They are constructed using traditional book making techniques and other techniques I have developed for making miniature books. The spines are printed with the title so the volumes will look well on a bookshelf in your dollhouse library.
