New Market Day 2005
On May 15, 2005, what is likely the first New Market Day ceremony in Georgia was held at the grave of William S. Carmichael, VMI Class of 1867. Our finding the grave has been a positive bonding experience for the alumni in this area. We think all alumni chapters would benefit by similar experiences. We have therefore started a project to locate as many of the New Market Cadet graves as possible and post directions to and photographs of all that we locate.
