On Thursday, October 2nd, 2008 the Fillies had their First Thursday of the Month Meeting at Rudi Lechner's German-Austrian Restaurant on Gessner@Westheimer. We celebrated Bernice B.'s and Shirley M.'s Birthdays. We had Jean W., Queen of the Garnet Gals, and Dana P., Queen of the Bodacious Butterflies as guests. Both ladies added to the fun. Jean is also celebrating her birthday this month. No Purple Hats in sight. Ladies, you're missing an opportunity! We enjoyed the food, music, dancing and camaraderie that we're becoming famous for. The Chicken Dance proved to be fun again this year. I think we have established another one of our Fillies Traditions!
