My name is Probably the Last One, but Momma and Daddy call me P-Lo 'cause that's my initials. I was rescued from a bad place when I was just a baby. Now I have the happiest life a fella could ever imagine. I'm spoiled rotten, but Mom says I'm spoiled in a good way. I'm the official "greeter" at the shop and Mom makes me baby-sit when kids come, but I don't mind. Even the grown ups like me and sometimes they bring me treats or toys. Mom says all dogs should be loved as much as I am and she gets so sad when she sees a dog on a chain or in a pen. She says every dog wants to live in the home with their family, not to be a living lawn ornament. That's why she belongs to an organization called Dogs Deserve Better. They work really hard to rescue dogs from chains and pens and getting them into the home. Did you know a chained or penned dog is way more likely to bite someone than a dog who lives in the home? Wouldn't being chained or penned 24/7 drive you crazy and make you do bad things that you wouldn't do if you lived in a loving home with people who care for you? Think about it.
