These seedlings have survived an 8 week drought in 2007 with no additional irrigation, and a two very severe Illinois winters with ice. Although several of the initial seedlings succumbed to the stressful conditions, I feel the losses have left me with seedlings which can live anywhere in the US. Many of these babies were a surprise in expected color, for their size, or edging and other appendages.
