This has been without a doubt the most satisfying bloom season I have experienced in my 20+ years of hybridizing hemerocallis. Abundant natural moisture has been a blessing, although the occasional flooding has sometimes caused a few hairs to fall out! The daylilies continue to astound me with their colors, forms,improved vigor and hardiness. After last years drought, I had very low expectations of this year's crop, but it has been about the best yet. Now I can't wait to see the seed set this year bloom!!
