VINTAGE BY DESIGN
I LOVED THIS CAKE! Sharon's reception Saturday at Vintage Villas (wonderful venue!)was fairly small, and this little cake was perfect! It was three tier to feed 104 and was embellished with hearts for the top tier, happy swirls for the middle and snowflakes around the bottom tier. The frosting was ivory buttercream, smoothed to perfection to look like fondant without the dreadful waxy taste of fondant. The fillings were varied (there's no extra charge for that!) and the cake had pearl dot borders. Best news--the price is a lowwww $2.25/serving!!! NEWS: I met a great florist who really went 'all out' on Sharon's cake to make it awesome! Her name is Shirley with Flowers by Design (453-7673--tell her Austin Cake Lady sent you please and thanks!)What a bang-up job she did on making this cake special for our bride, and that's what it's all about.
