MIRRORED ROSE
This is a heavily embellished cake, covered with a whole garden of icing roses and hundreds of tiny forget-me-nots. This is a traditional wedding cake which is given a contemporary look with the mirrors underneath and the glass in the background--a real close-to-nature look. The cake design which endures year in, year out, is popular among young and old and sells for $2.50/srv. because of all the handmade flowers. I see a trend beginning to make its way back in with the separations between the tiers. I hope so because I've always thought that's what really makes a wedding cake elegant.
