The Complete Works of William Shakespeare 39 Volumes Signed and Numbered $535.00 The Complete Works of Shakespeare, numbered and signed, is handmade set of 39 books containing the complete text of the 37 plays, a book of the sonnets and a book containing selected poetry (A Lovers Complaint, The Passionate Pilgrim, Sonnets To Sundry Notes of Music, The Phoenix and The Turtle, Venus and Adonis, The Rape of Lucrece). The books measure 31/32 high by 25/32 wide and vary in thickness from 3/16th to 3/8th. The pages are printed on both sides of single sheets. The books are constructed using traditional bookbinding techniques and other techniques I have developed for miniature books. The pages are printed on Bienfang calligraphic parchment paper. Each page is hand cut. The cover is printed on high quality acid free paper and bound over a base of 110 pound cardstock to keep the cover in scale. The cover design is a copy of a piece of antique Moroccan leather. The spine is printed with the title so the volume will look well on a bookshelf in your miniature library.
