THE CANTERBURY TALES by Geoffrey Chaucer was published by William Caxton in the mid 1470’s. These volumes are a miniature reproduction of each of the tales in a separate volume. This set is comprised of 25 volumes. The text is Old English with 47 woodcut illustrations throughout the volumes. Each volume measures 31/32” by 25/32”. The text is printed on 24 pound acid free fine parchment paper. The cover is printed on 20 pound acid free paper over a base of 110 pound cardstock in order to keep the volumes to scale. The bookcase and accessories are not included. The titles are printed on the spines.
