QFTD Jo Ann and Queen Cynthia planned a game night at the Elks Lodge for the Re-Gals' sixth birthday celebration on May 21. As always, the Elks made us welcome, and we enjoyed the snacks and drinks that they prepared. We had big pieces of birthday cake and blackberry cobbler baked that morning by new member Bobbi with blackberries from her yard. It was amazing!

We enjoyed meeting Etta's daughter Vicki, who was spending the night with Etta. We played a new dice game called LCR, first for chips and then for quarters. Queen Cynthia won $7 in that round and put it into the chapter's kitty. The raffle prize for wearing nametags throughout the year, a copy of the new RHS Travel Guide, was won by Frankie, and Fayrene and Sharon won the door prizes. New members Bobbi and Linda took their Red Hat vows and were welcomed into the chapter. We did a little line dancing and a lot of talking. Had a great time. Thank you, Jo Ann!
