Floating. It is now the afternoon of October 19th. We are taken from the hotel to the shore of the Dead Sea. The salt in this water is so concentrated that it is impossible to sink. Everyone is boyant!! There I am sitting on the water. I am not touching the bottom.
The Dead Sea is a dividing point between Jordan and Israel. The two countries share the chemicals and technology to make products made from chemicals of this water.
By the way, this body of water is fed by the Jordan River and can be as much as 1300' below sea level.
