This is What We Feed Our Dogs and Puppies This is the Food I make to Feed My Dogs. 1. Exclusive Puppy Dry, Eukanuba Small Breed Puppy Petite dry kibble, ( we are using Bil Jack puppy as of Nov. 2008. dry, bowl always available. 2. Exclusive Puppy mixed with the following below. You can omit or add to it. 3. Ground Turkey, Ground Hamburger, or Ground Chicken, Chicken livers, Chicken Legs, or thighs, Boiled in water. Use enough water to boiled the meat and for the amount of rice you will use. 4. Brown Rice amount depends on how much you are making. 1/2 cup up 5. I used a bag of Birds Eye Mixed Vegtables, and garlic powder ( keeps the worms out and bugs off) 6. Scrambled Eggs in Margarine. Oil is good for their coat. 7. Add a little of this mixture to the dry dog food twice a day. 8. This is separate from the bowl of dry food 9. Clean water ( We have well water with no taste so if you have city water dog or puppy may need time to get used to it). 10. Add about a tablespoon of corn oil for the coat to the boiled mixture while it is cooking. 11. Store in the refrigerator in a container and just warm up and add about a 1/2 cup per dog, or more to the dry dog food to make it a little soft. 12. Other meats you can use 1. Ground Lamb 2. Chicken thighs, legs anything cheap 3. Chicken Livers, Gizzards, Ground Beef Hearts 4. Mixed frozen bag of Vegatables 5. Beef in a can, may give some Shih-Tzu lose stools so we do not used it. I do use ground beef to boil with the ground chicken and turkey. We do give them raw Hamburger or Beef, made into round balls, sometimes for a treat. Raw meat as a treat, is good for them but not every day.
