Here is one of the reason's I have been out of the loop of things lately.. This is the newest member to our family..

I had rescued a litter of puppies. There started off 5 of them. One disappeared and they didn't know what happened to it, one died and well. I took the other 3 home. We have decided to keep this little girl that we have named Sweetpea..

They were put outside with an uninsulated barrel for a dog house in freezing temerature's, while the mother was being kept inside the house. Her two brother's I have found homes for.

At least 3 of them had happy endings.

She is half Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and half Cocker Spaniel. How anyone can mistreat any kind of animal is beyond me. I have rescued several horses from starvation in the past too.
