The Cardio.
The Cardio is a remodeled street with shops for tourists. Many years ago, probably during Roman times, this was a main street on ground level. Now it is well below ground level due to the passage of time and history. We were not able to visit the shops as it was Succot and the stores, the area, was closed to the public. This photo was taken from a closed gate to the area.
