See these paintings in person on Saturday, July 14th, Future Studio, 5558 No. Figueroa St., Highland Park. Reception: 7-10 pm "To Protect and Preserve" - The Historic Zones of Los Angeles. I have depicted more representational paintings of various architectural styles, but I feel that the abstract style utilizing multiple transparent veils of paint through which collaged images or words appear and disappear communicates a more emotional and sensual composition.
