Each face is carefully sculpted from polymer clays. Some eyes are glass or acrylic while others are hand painted clay. The beard and hair are tibetan goat, various wool products and viscose blends. The hats and are also various fabrics from faux leathers to suede and velours. The tiny embellishments are either hand sculpted from apoxies and clay or miniature products such as holly and berries. Each head is numbered and dated as it is created.

So far I have managed to sculpt one Santa head each day since Christmas! I am not certain how long I will be able to continue to do that, but I'm having a blast trying! The decorating part slows me down some so now I usually decorate them once 4 or 5 have been sculpted and baked. I am learning sooo much by doing this, not to mention it's a great challenge to myself just keeping up! I can proudly say I have my hands in clay every single day...if only for an hour!
