Capitol City - Austin TX

Pros: Located in a major city that has a large number of Sporting Clays shooters. Large enough to host several NSCA events. Open to the public. Towers, raised platforms & a deck that allows you to shoot at targets passing below foot level. Picnic tables and small clubhouse to get in out of the rain. Two small 50 target corporate courses & a full 12 station salty course.

Cons: Boring terrain with short, pudgy trees & tall grass. Two water ponds on course but not used for target presentations. Very poor course housekeeping, tons of hulls laying everywhere, cardboard boxes in tress, and junk piles below shooting platforms. No effort at course beautification. A few stations had machines placed directly behind a shooter throwing targets across a cart path over the shooters head. No-bird fragments would spray shooting group - not cool. Little to no signs telling you where to park or where the next station is.
