For Acrylic paints, I like to use the following: Titanium White, Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, Thalo Blue, Sap Green, Cad. Red Lt., Cad. Orange, Cad. Yellow med., Ultramarine Blue, Thalo Green, Alizarin Crimson, Yellow Ochre, Cad. (lemon) Yellow Lt, Mars Black. Brushes can be any that you are comfortable with, a combination of flats, rounds, filberts, liners, a fan brush, and a foliage (or scruffy). Synthetic brushes and bristle brushes are fine. Teacher will provide the brushes, paints, and a canvas paper to paint on FOR THE FIRST 3 CLASSES ONLY for a materials fee of $5 per class. After the third class, you will be expected to bring your own supplies with you to class. Basic Supplies to bring to ALL classes: An 11 X 14 canvas board or stretched canvas, Paper Towels, Baby Wipes, a spray bottle (mister) with water, disposable palette paper OR Wet Palette if you are used to using one.
