Welcome to Annetiques where I am passionate about rug hooking! The patterns shown in the album are my original designs, several are adaptations from antique quilts, primitive art, or antique hooked rugs. I am obsessed with old rugs and to make my rugs look antique I incorporate many elements such as penny circles, flowers and animals. I feel that these basics contribute to the primitive, antique uniqueness of my original designs. I pull my ideas from everywhere, so many things inspire me, I love to draw and design so new designs will be coming often. Each pattern comes custom packaged with a color photo to help with color planning. The pattern is carefully hand drawn on the straight grain of quality monks cloth. All four sides of the pattern have been overcast to keep the edges from fraying. There is a generous 4 - 5 inch backing allowance on all sides of the pattern for ease in hooking and attaching to your frame. I will customize a pattern for you by changing the date at no additional charge. Patterns are available on linen or monks cloth. Each pattern is to be hooked only once and is intended for personal use only. Patterns may not be reproduced or duplicated in any form or by any means.
