RIVERPLACE TRISH
My lovely bride Trish chose this big square (not offset) cake, and it looked so pretty with the sun shining through the window at Riverplace Country Club. They promised me that the sun won't melt the cake through their glass but it will melt cakes through most standard windows. It's a beautiful white cake with the very popular combination (again) of the Riverplace Scroll on top and bottom tiers and Hannah Scroll all over the middle tier. It has mauve ribbon around each tier, and the topper is made by Austin Cake Lady exclusively with royal blue Dutch Iris. The colors were striking! Instead of a groom's cake for their reception, we've done the center tier in fudge cake with fudge filling. The remaining two tiers are the 'crowdpleaser' French Vanilla with a hint of lemon and hint of almond, and with red seedless raspberry filling. The cake sells for only $2.50/serving, a small extra charge for two cake flavors instead of one to cover the waste in our big recipes. I think this is my favorite cake for the week, and the venue is definitely one of my top choices. What a beautiful view with wonderful staff! Our number is 258-3703.
