Leonardo's boots
This is a pair of low cut leather boots that I painted for a Artful Soul event at Belle Papier. I traced Leonardo's drawings onto the boots, incised them with a Dremel tool, then painted them. I used some metallics to make them more visible. And then as a stroke of luck, I remembered three replicas of Ancient Roman coins that I brought home 15 years ago from Bath, England, a Roman settlement. I had been saving them all this time and I didn't know what I was saving them for. This was it!
