Our house was once a bar, dance hall, and hardware store. I could only find records at the historical society going back to 1848, so we are still uncertain as to the age of the home. Before then, Wisconsin was not a state, so the era was called "The Pioneer Days." We estimate the house to be from 1840 or so. There have been many additions in and onto the original house.

So far, we've done some minor things outside like seal the roof and put up a gutter, along with a little landscaping.
