Janie and Jo Ann collaborated to give us a most enjoyable night at the Southern Junction steak house and dance club in Royce City on August 23. Ten Re-Gals met at the club and pigged out on steak and pork ribs. Jean and Cynthia learned to Three Step, getting to dance with some nice guys, and several of us did the line dance teach. Jean and Janie got themselves up on the mechanical bull, but we made sure it wasn't turned on. Getting aboard was hard enough!

Queens for the Day Janie and Jo Ann provided lovely door prizes, and the band played Happy Birthday for Janie while we kazooed along.

This event resulted from our viewing of the Red Hat Society Documentary, and it was an unusual evening for us and loads of fun.
