Anza Borrego: April Showers Anza Borrego State Park claims to be the largest of its kind in the contiguous 48, and its beauty is varied and striking no matter the place or weather. In this case, it is a rainy April afternoon. We live a little more than an hour away, so often are able to grab a snack and head out for a hike or a picnic. Sometimes we are lucky enough to spend a few days, but generally we visit the museum and bookstore at the visitor's center (what a find!), catch a lecture or two, then head off to explore. Of course the camera is always in hand. One doesn't have to go far to get some beautiful pictures. Can you guess which two were taken on top of the roof of the visitor's center (Yes, it is partly under ground) and which were right in front of the administration building? |
