A Grouper!
There were some small fish, some coral and this giant fish called a Grouper. It was tremendous, but very friendly. The divers always gave it a treat when they came down with each new crew. We were asked if we would like another hour of scuba at half price. I didn't find the exercise or the view all that exciting. It wasn't a National Geographic day!! I declined the offer. Marcia did some snorkeling. We both looked at the reef through the underwater windows. The Great Barrier Reef runs some 1000 miles along the northern part of the eastern coast of Australia. It is made up of many, many submerged islands.
