Blue door.
This is the front of the Smith residence in Williamstown. Williamstown is or was a changing community. It had been a rather run down area, but now at the time of our visit, was undergoing "gentrification". This door was a point of contention. Codes had been developed which allowed certain colors, decorations, etc. Blue doors did not fit the regulations! The Smiths liked their blue door! John and Peg Smith were gracious hosts. Their home was pleasant and we were afforded every comfort and were taken everywhere including out to dinner one night.
